Thirteen people, including a notary public and a bailiff, were arrested in Constanta for forming a real estate fraud ring. They identified vulnerable elderly people, took their homes through forged documents and sold them illegally. The group is charged with human trafficking, forming an organized criminal group and other crimes. Police have applied for the suspects to be remanded in custody and the investigation is continuing to recover the fraudulently obtained properties.
