The Stejaru Power Plant, with a capacity of 210 MW, will be refurbished through an investment of 97.5 million euros, aiming to increase efficiency and safety in operation. The project includes the modernization of hydro aggregates and control systems, ensuring operation at updated parameters. Among the objectives are reducing downtime, monitoring operating parameters, and environmental protection. Hidroelectrica, the largest producer of green energy in Romania, will benefit from this modernization, thus contributing to the stability of the National Energy System.
