Following frequent calls to 112 regarding the presence of bears near households, the city of Râșnov has installed the first 800 meters of electric fence behind houses in the area. The measure aims to protect residents from bears descending on containers. It is planned to install a further 5,200 meters of electric fence in other areas bordering the forest, with the support of the Râșnov Forestry Office.
