RAR has initiated service recall campaigns for 26 car brands manufactured between 1998 and 2019, due to technical problems that may affect active and passive safety. Nearly 100,000 cars in Romania are affected, of which 14,000 require active safety issues to be fixed. The problems identified include risks related to airbags, which can cause serious injuries in case of an accident. RAR will implement measures to inform customers about these campaigns, which are free of charge.
