An excavator was hit by a CFR Călători train and rail traffic between Bucharest and Ploiești was disrupted.

The accident occurred at the level crossing at km 35+527, affecting several passenger trains. Rail traffic was temporarily closed for operations to remove the excavator from the tracks. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and railway staff are assisting the intervention teams to safely resume traffic.
