Passenger train IR 1691 suffered a pantograph malfunction, which led to the power supply to the contact wire being interrupted on a certain section. Intervention staff were able to rectify the problem and the train was put back into service after a standstill of about 90 minutes. To reduce delays for other trains scheduled on the same route, they will be doubled with a diesel locomotive.
