The Romanian Police carried out 46 searches on Thursday morning in Giurgiu and Bucharest, targeting an organized criminal group involved in pimping and human trafficking. The group, consisting of over 30 members, facilitated prostitution in several European countries, earning approximately 3.5 million euros, which they laundered through the purchase of luxury goods. A police officer is also involved in the investigation, suspected of having supported the illegal activities.
