The Minister of National Defense, Radu Miruță, declared on Saturday, in Constanța, that Romanians can trust the Romanian Army, following the incidents with marine drones in the Port of Constanța. Miruță emphasized that the military performs "miracles" with the available resources, mentioning that they cannot be asked to defend the country with "bare hands" against advanced technologies.

He confirmed that efforts are being made to improve the technical equipment of the army. In the context of the armament ordered through the SAFE program, Miruță explained that Romania has requested temporary support from NATO until the necessary equipment is delivered.
