The interim Minister of Transport announced that he is mediating the situation of Metrorex's debts to Hidroelectrica, after the energy supplier sent a disconnection notice due to unpaid bills for three months. Miruță had discussions with the director of Hidroelectrica to find solutions for payment restructuring, emphasizing that Metrorex will not be disconnected at this time.

In an official address, the minister requested explanations from the management of Metrorex regarding the accumulation of arrears. He also announced the extension of the mission of the Ministry's Control Body to verify the efficient use of funds at Metrorex, considering the company's financial issues. Miruță had previously criticized the management of funds by Metrorex, highlighting the need to demonstrate an efficient use of the subsidies received.
