Radu Marinescu stated that there are no legal elements for the dismissal of chief prosecutors, even though there are grievances regarding their activity. He emphasized that any change must strictly comply with the legislation, and expressing a grievance does not constitute a legal reason. The minister discussed the progress in the fight against corruption but acknowledged the challenges related to crime, including domestic violence and human trafficking. The mandates of the chief prosecutors expire in the spring of 2026.
