Florin Manole, the Minister of Labor, addressed the issue of the freezing of benefits for children with disabilities, who receive only 80 lei per month. He emphasized that, although there is a need for budget savings, it is essential to show social solidarity and to compensate for the needs of certain categories of citizens.

Manole highlighted that the current amount of 80 lei is insufficient and that the PSD believes there is a need for an increase in these benefits. Additionally, the PSD communicated that its economic stimulus program is the only genuine reform discussed in the Coalition and that it will support the reform of the administration only together with economic measures, emphasizing that the two components must remain interconnected.
