The general secretary of the PSD, Claudiu Manda, declared on Tuesday that the party will take a decisive step by withdrawing its ministers from the Government, an action scheduled for Thursday.
Manda emphasized that this decision is not related to "chairs", but aims to send a clear message that the PSD no longer wishes to be part of a pro-European coalition, being open to negotiations only with another prime minister. Although they do not consider that there is a political crisis at present, Manda mentioned that the withdrawal will take place if Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan does not act in the coming days. He criticized Bolojan's leadership style and stated that the PSD cannot continue under the current leadership. Manda specified that all PSD ministers agree with the withdrawal, and discussions about the withdrawal of state secretaries are still ongoing.
