The 230 million euro vessel will be used for interconnector projects and offshore wind farms. It will be the third vessel of its type contracted by Prysmian to VARD and is a sign of the opportunities brought by the energy transition for local industry. The vessel is being designed by VARD Design in Norway, will be 185 meters long and 34 meters wide and is expected to become operational in 2027.
