CT Bus employees in Constanța continue the protests, refusing to go out on the route for the second consecutive day, dissatisfied with working conditions and the absence of the Christmas bonus of 600 lei, stipulated in the collective labor contract. The 700 drivers gathered at the company headquarters, demanding the director's resignation. The protest affects the residents of Constanța, who are facing difficulties in getting to work and school.
Representatives of the Constanța City Hall stated that the protest is illegal, as it was not notified according to the law, and emphasized that the management of CT Bus needs to improve labor relations and salary policies. The City Hall conducted an audit recommending a reduction in salary expenses from 70% to 50% of total expenses, suggesting a reorganization of the staff. Authorities believe that internal grievances should not affect citizens, and blocking activities is not a viable solution.
