The Romanian Patriarchate has submitted proposals for the establishment of canonical legal and financial control bodies, coordinated by the Patriarch or Metropolitan.

The proposals also include the appointment of experienced specialists to these bodies, as well as the addition of provisions on corruption to the regulations of the BOR's canonical disciplinary authorities and courts. These proposals will be presented for consideration and approval at the next working session of the Holy Synod.
