A 42-year-old teacher from Craiova has been detained for 24 hours, accused of raping a minor. Investigators established that between January and September 2025, the man allegedly had sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl, a student at the high school where he taught. The report was made by a man from Bucharest, and the police launched an investigation, bringing several people in for questioning. The teacher was taken to the IPJ Dolj detention center.
