The Petromidia co-generation plant, built with an investment of 164 million dollars, will fully cover the refinery's consumption and will contribute surplus energy to the National Energy System. The project, which has generated 160 jobs, uses advanced equipment with low CO₂ emissions and is an important step towards Romania's energy independence, realized through a partnership with Kazakhstan.
