Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan had a meeting on Monday at the Cotroceni Palace with President Nicușor Dan, before the meeting of the governing Coalition, where delayed administrative reforms will be discussed, including cuts from institutions and municipalities. The discussions also focused on the budget for 2026, which has not been finalized.
The Prime Minister also addressed the allocation of funds for Bucharest, according to the recent referendum. The meeting took place in a tense context, with attacks from the PSD against Bolojan, who was criticized for the lack of pension increases and the proposed reforms. The social democrats discussed the possible change of the Prime Minister, following internal discontent.
