Ilie Bolojan: 2026 will be a difficult year for the business environment and the Government

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated at the General Assembly of the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce that the year 2023 will not be an easy one for the business environment and for policymakers. He emphasized that economic issues, including budget corrections and the unfavorable international context, will affect the activities of entrepreneurs.

Bolojan appreciated the efforts of business people to maintain their businesses and employees, highlighting that this represents essential support during this difficult period. The Prime Minister insisted on the importance of maintaining budget balances and reducing state expenditures, as well as the necessity to absorb European funds to support investments. He reaffirmed the Government's commitment to fulfilling economic priorities, despite existing challenges.
