Ilie Bolojan announced that the meeting at Cotroceni on the topic of judges' pensions did not lead to a concrete solution, emphasizing that the discussions were constructive, but no agreement was reached. He highlighted the significant discrepancy between judges' pensions, which amount to approximately 5,000 euros, and the average pensions of Romanians, which are only 500-600 euros. Bolojan warned that, in the absence of corrective measures, Romania's future could be compromised, considering that the active population will significantly decrease in the coming years.

He also proposed a pension of 3,200 euros for judges, believing that this could provide a decent old age, in the context of pensions in Romania. The Prime Minister emphasized the need to create a fair and sustainable system for the future.
