The Public Health Directorate (DSP) Prahova has announced the lifting of restrictions on water consumption in several localities affected by the crisis at Paltinu, which began on November 28. Laboratory analyses conducted on water samples from the Brebu, Telega, Breaza, Florești, Băicoi, and Bănești systems have shown that the analyzed parameters fall within the accepted limits. Thus, the water consumption ban has been lifted, with the exception of the Băicoi Town Hospital, where restrictions remain temporarily in place due to a sample that did not meet the standards.
DSP will continue to carry out additional sampling to ensure the safety of medical activities. In the rest of the water supply systems, the consumption ban remains in effect until the potability of the water is confirmed.
