Prosecutors discovered that a former employee of the Post collaborated with the robbers, providing them with essential information for committing a robbery in May 2025. She provided details about the layout of the headquarters, methods to avoid surveillance cameras and alarm systems, as well as information about the large sums of money available.

The woman was initially detained for complicity in aggravated theft and is now under judicial control for 60 days, being prohibited from working at the Post. The robberies were committed by several individuals, who stole nearly 10 million lei, the amount being recovered later. Two of the perpetrators have been detained, a third was found in Italy, and a fourth is still being sought.
