Victor Ponta accuses the negative influence of USR on the government and anticipates economic difficulties for Romania

This weekend, Munich is hosting the Security Conference, which is attended by over 1,000 officials, including heads of state. Romania is represented by USR ministers Radu Miruță (Defense) and Oana Țoiu (Foreign Affairs) and by Dan Cîmpean, head of the Cybersecurity Directorate.

Former Prime Minister Victor Ponta harshly criticized the presence of the two, considering that they do not have the necessary competencies to hold such important positions and represent the country at an event of this magnitude. Ponta stated that he would not even send them to a gas station and accused USR of turning Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan into a "prisoner," emphasizing that the party has a negative influence on him. He also anticipated an economic catastrophe for Romania, highlighting the need to stimulate the economy.
