A 31-year-old police officer from Mehedinți was involved in a traffic accident and was subsequently subjected to a breathalyzer test which showed a concentration of 0.30 milliliters of alcohol per liter in the exhaled air.

As a result, his driving license was suspended. Following the accident, three people were injured, and both the police officer and the other driver involved in the incident are being criminally investigated.
