Initially, the officer was detained for 24 hours, and later the court decided on house arrest as part of an investigation coordinated by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate. On April 2, 2026, prosecutors from the Bacău Territorial Service presented the proposal for house arrest to the Bacău Tribunal, which was accepted for a period of 30 days.
