Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that he has not initiated discussions with the Alliance for the Union of Romanians to support a minority government, but does not rule out specific collaboration in Parliament for projects of national interest.

He emphasized that the current mandate aims at negotiations with the coalition parties, Save Romania Union, the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania, and the minority group, however, in the context of the risk of losing European funds, broader discussions are deemed necessary, as "Romania's interests have no political color." "We will see what will happen in the coming period and depending on the political evolution that will unfold in the coming days, we will make decisions regarding discussions with one parliamentarian or another," added Ilie Bolojan.
