The alliance between PNL and USR officially endorsed, on Monday, Mihai Răzvan Moraru as a candidate for the position of president of the Buzău County Council. This is the first time that the two right-wing parties collaborate against the PSD, represented by Marcel Ciolacu. Adrian Mocanu, president of PNL Buzău, emphasized that the alliance is essential to provide a credible alternative and to free the county from PSD's dominance. Moraru, an experienced entrepreneur, accepted the challenge to change a system considered corrupt. He promised a modern campaign based on dialogue and transparency, addressing issues of health, infrastructure, and jobs. Florin Drăgulin, president of USR Buzău, called the moment historic and emphasized the importance of the unity of the Romanian right. The alliance was unanimously approved, and PNL and USR will collaborate closely in the electoral campaign.
