The Association of Video Game Archives and Preservation Projects plans to open the Video Game Museum in Bucharest in the last quarter of 2024.

The museum, called Video Games Museum, will highlight the heritage of Romanian and universal video games as a cultural phenomenon, with the aim of presenting the evolution of video games from the beginning to the present. The initiative is realized with the support of the Romanian Video Game Developers Association and will include collaboration with Romanian gaming industry leaders.
