Petre Roman, former prime minister, reacted to the charges in the 'Mineriada of June 13-15, 1990' case, in which he is on trial along with other leaders, saying that the accusation is totally inappropriate and unfounded from a legal point of view. He emphasized that a public order operation cannot be considered as a repressive one, thus considering the accusations absurd and referring to his actions during that period.
