The National Administration 'Apele Române' announced that the Paltinu dam has a filling coefficient of 53.94%, equivalent to 27.781 million cubic meters, sufficient to ensure the necessary raw water supply in the medium and long term. Recently, technical interventions were carried out, including the restarting of hydro aggregates at low depth, to stabilize the water supply system. Additionally, the controlled discharge of water towards Lake Voila was successfully carried out without affecting the water supply to the population.

Despite the restoration of normal functioning, ANAR emphasizes that major interventions are needed in the medium term, including the reactivation of drainage equipment and preventive measures to increase storage capacities. The Paltinu dam is essential for Prahova County, playing a multiple role in water supply, energy production, and flood protection. The water crisis has been managed administratively, involving a team of specialists from various institutions.
