The Palm Sunday pilgrimage took place at the National Cathedral, where the Evening Service was officiated, and the willow branches were blessed for the attending faithful. At 16:15, hierarchs, priests, monks, and thousands of pilgrims set off in procession along the established route through the center of the Capital, stopping at the Chapel of the National Cathedral and at the Brâncoveanu Cross at the base of the Hill of Joy.

The column of believers arrived at the Patriarchal Cathedral around 17:45, where they were greeted by Patriarch Daniel. He offered a blessing prayer and delivered a word of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of this celebration in Orthodox tradition. The pilgrimage was a moment of spiritual communion and reaffirmation of faith for all participants.
