Residents of Bucharest initially received a RO-Alert orange code message on Sunday around 16:00, warning them of severe weather phenomena. According to the notification, from 16:13 to 17:00, torrential downpours with accumulations of 25-40 l/m², frequent lightning strikes, wind intensifications of 70-80 km/h, and hailstones with a diameter of 2-3 centimeters are forecasted. Authorities recommend that people avoid traveling and seek shelter until the dangerous phenomena cease.
