On Tuesday, in the second day of the operation 'JUPITER 5', the authorities carried out 51 operational actions at the national level, executing 207 home search warrants and 77 summons in criminal cases.
According to a press release from the Prosecutor's Office next to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, various economic-financial crimes, corruption, forestry crimes, and many others are being investigated, with an estimated damage of over 23.5 million lei. The investigation aims to seize documents, information systems, and goods suspected of criminal origin.
Prosecutors intend to impose preventive and precautionary measures on the assets to recover the damages. The 'JUPITER' operation aims to combat crime through coordinated actions between the Public Ministry and the Romanian Police, targeting the dismantling of criminal groups and holding accountable those involved.
