OMV Petrom realized a significant rise in fuel prices, with prices reaching 7.12-7.19 lei/l for gasoline and 7.22-7.27 lei/l for diesel. The increase is influenced by the shortage of diesel in the EU and international conflicts, including the Israeli-Iranian conflict. Since the beginning of the month, OMV Petrom has made four price hikes and prices will continue to come under pressure, possibly also due to a possible excise tax hike by the government.
