Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, had a meeting with the partner of President Nicușor Dan, Mirabela Grădinaru, in Bucharest, where she expressed Ukraine's gratitude for Romania's support during the war. She highlighted the humanitarian aid provided by Romania, including water purification systems and contributions to educational support initiatives. She also mentioned that Romania supports the Ukrainian language and culture, having audio guides in Ukrainian at various monuments.

Olena Zelenska announced that Romania is becoming the 27th country to join the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies, signing memorandums with universities in Bucharest, Cluj, and Suceava. She invited Mirabela Grădinaru to Kiev for the First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit, where important topics for societies will be discussed. The two had a meeting at the Cotroceni Palace, where they discussed future collaboration.
