The visit of South Korean officials, including the President of the National Assembly, Woo Won-shik, to the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant underlines the strategic partnership between Romania and the Republic of Korea. Cosmin Ghiță, CEO of Nuclearelectrica, emphasized the importance of the collaboration with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) for the upgrading of Unit 1 and the development of the first Detriritizer Plant in Romania.
