A driver from Dolj fled from the police, hitting two cars, including one police vehicle. He was apprehended after refusing a biological test.

A dramatic incident took place in Dolj, where a 30-year-old man from the commune of Cârna was stopped by police to be tested for alcohol consumption. Upon learning of this, he fled, being pursued all the way to Dacia Boulevard in Craiova. During the escape, he hit a parked car and then collided with a police vehicle.

Immobilized by the officers, he was tested with a breathalyzer, resulting in a concentration of 0.87 mg/l of pure alcohol and a positive result for psychoactive substances. Although he was informed that he would be taken to a medical unit for biological sample collection, the man refused. He was detained for 24 hours for refusing to undergo testing and will be presented to the Prosecutor's Office next to the Craiova Court for legal measures.
