During her visit to the United States, Oana Ţoiu discussed with representatives of American companies about accelerating investments in Romania, especially in the nuclear sector. The targeted projects include reactors 3 and 4 at the CNE Cernavodă and the refurbishment of reactor 1. Ţoiu also emphasized the importance of Romania in the logistics of LNG delivery in Europe. Regarding the small reactors at Doicești, the formation of a joint Romanian-American group was mentioned to analyze the public policy framework necessary for their implementation.
