Oana Ţoiu is making an official visit to Warsaw to strengthen the strategic partnership with Poland.

Oana Ţoiu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is making an official visit to Warsaw on Tuesday, where she will meet with the Deputy Prime Minister and her Polish counterpart, Radoslaw Sikorski. The discussions will focus on bilateral cooperation, regional security developments, and negotiations for European funds within the framework of the future multiannual budget of the European Union.

The visit, initially scheduled for March 3-5, has been shortened to a single day due to the security situation in the Middle East, which has led to the cancellation of meetings with the Romanian community in Poland. Oana Ţoiu emphasized the importance of the strategic security partnership between Romania and Poland, highlighting essential collaboration for regional priorities in European policies and security on the eastern flank. This visit reaffirms the historical ties and close cooperation between the two countries.
