In the aftermath of the Colectiv nightclub fire, 65 people died, 28 of them in Romanian hospitals. Although the authorities promised to build three centers for burn victims, none has been completed so far. Many of the injured were also transferred to hospitals abroad, some later dying. The tragedy occurred on the evening of October 30, 2015, after a fire broke out during a concert.
