The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, will make a visit to Paris from July 13-14, 2026, where he will participate in the meeting of the Coalition of Will for Ukraine and the ceremonies dedicated to the National Day of the French Republic, at the invitation of his counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

This visit underscores the Strategic Partnership between Romania and France, on the occasion of the centenary of the Franco-Roman friendship treaty. Romania will be represented by 22 soldiers from the 30th Guard Brigade 'Mihai Viteazul' at the military parade on the Champs-Élysées, with the theme 'Strategic Reawakening of Europe'. During the meeting of the Coalition of Will for Ukraine, Nicușor Dan will discuss the link between Ukraine's security and European security, emphasizing the importance of continued support for Ukraine.

The President will highlight the necessity for Ukraine to negotiate from a position of strength to ensure a lasting and just peace, and the Coalition of Will will play a crucial role in implementing security guarantees for the Black Sea region and the Eastern Flank.
