President Nicușor Dan celebrated the US Independence Day, underlining the 145-year relationship between Romania and the United States, which is essential for Romanian foreign policy. He mentioned cooperation in areas such as security, defense and energy, highlighting the presence of American troops in Romania and joint projects in the energy sector. Mr. Dan reaffirmed Romania's commitment to a more secure Euro-Atlantic area and called for US support for joining the OECD, concluding with good wishes for the United States.
