Nicușor Dan condemns, in his first reaction after the destruction of the drone near Neptun Deep, "the intensification of these types of irresponsible incidents by the Russian Federation"

President Nicușor Dan reacted on Thursday after a marine drone was destroyed by the Romanian Army in the area of the Neptun Deep platform in the Black Sea.

In a message published on Facebook, he congratulated both the Romanian Army, the pilots of the two Romanian F-16 fighter jets, and the Coast Guard for the "success of the mission" and "promptness". The head of state condemned these repeated incidents from the Russian Federation, which he considers to be "irresponsible".

We remind that a marine drone was destroyed on Thursday by the Romanian Army with the cannon of a Romanian F-16 aircraft, in the area of the Neptun Deep platform in the Black Sea. The announcement was made by the interim Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță. The drone was loaded with explosives.
