President Nicușor Dan will participate on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Summit of the Three Seas Initiative and the I3M Business Forum, which takes place in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
The meeting, which brings together 12 member states of the European Union, aims to develop cooperation in areas such as energy, transport, and digitalization.
According to the Presidential Administration, the meeting is scheduled to start on Tuesday at 15:30 (Romania time).
On the first day, Dan will attend an official dinner at 21:00, hosted by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and on the second day, he will participate in the special session of the Business Forum.
The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, will attend the Business Forum, where the Memorandum of Understanding for the Infrastructure Fund of the Initiative will be signed, with an estimated contribution from Romania between 25 and 50 million euros.
This contribution will support important regional projects, having a significant impact on the economy. Additionally, Nicușor Dan will have bilateral meetings with international financial partners to attract investments. The summit takes place annually and continues the series of meetings that began in 2016.
