Nicușor Dan has announced that he will ask the Prime Minister to investigate the floods that led to the closure of the Praid Saltworks, stressing that the situation could have been prevented. He promised that the 130 employees and those in tourism will receive compensation. A comprehensive study will look into the possibility of saving the salt works and long-term measures are needed to prevent future flooding. In Covasna county, other localities have been affected and the authorities are asking for government support.
