The parking under the Basarab Passage in Sector 1 will operate non-stop

The parking located under the Basarab Passage, in the Nicolae Titulescu–Banu Manta area of Sector 1, has been opened and will operate non-stop. The parking has 65 spaces, and payment is made at the automated terminals installed on-site.

The rate is 3 lei for 30 minutes and 5 lei for one hour. According to the Sector 1 City Hall, this is the second public parking with a barrier put into operation in 2026. Authorities have announced that, depending on the occupancy rate, monthly subscriptions for residents may also be introduced, costing 150 lei for the night period (19:00–08:00) or 250 lei per month for access at any time.
