Netflix has decided to close the Boss Fight Entertainment studio, after more than ten years of activity, a news confirmed by co-founder David Rippy on LinkedIn. David Luehmann, development director at Boss Fight, mentioned that the time has come for the studio's closure. Netflix, which acquired Boss Fight in 2022 to diversify its revenue, will continue to offer the games "Netflix Stories" and "Squid Game: Unleashed." The company, which appointed a new president of the gaming division last year, Alain Tascan, will focus its strategy on developing narrative, party, and children's games, with "Squid Game: Unleashed" as an example of the future creative direction.
