Nestle Romania has initiated a voluntary recall of certain batches of powdered milk from the NAN 1 Optipro and NAN 1 Comfortis ranges, after the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) identified the presence of the Bacillus cereus bacteria on a production line. The affected batches include NAN 1 Comfortis 800 g and NAN 1 Optipro 800 g and 400 g, all having a minimum durability date of 31.10.2027. ANSVSA emphasizes that the recall only concerns these batches, and other products from the Nestle NAN range are not affected. Consumers who have purchased products from the mentioned batches are advised not to offer them for consumption and to return them to the stores where they were purchased, receiving a refund without the need for a receipt. Nestle provides support through a free hotline for additional information.
