The Minister of Health announces inspections at all private hospitals with operating rooms, following the death of a young woman at the Armonia hospital in Constanța.

Alexandru Rogobete, the Minister of Health, ordered nationwide inspections in private hospitals following the death of a patient due to complications during childbirth. Although the Armonia hospital had a health authorization, inspectors found a lack of analysis reports for monitoring infections, imposing a fine of 30,000 lei. The inspections will target all private units performing surgical interventions. The Armonia hospital stated that it is authorized and properly equipped, asserting that it acted professionally in the case of the patient.
