Siegfried Mureșan, PNL MEP, criticized PSD for its constant opposition to reforms, stating that the party uses the creation of working groups and bureaucracy to avoid solving problems. He emphasized that the majority of Romanians want reforms and modernization, and if PSD continues to defend injustices, it will lose to AUR, an extremist party.
Mureșan pointed out that an unreformed Romania will remain poor and divided, while a reformed country will be united and strong. In this context, the interim president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, announced the intention to form a working group to address issues related to judges' pensions, without requesting the resignation of the prime minister.
